Who we are

Our website address is: http://luminatechreviews.com.

Comments

When you post a comment on our platform, we collect the information you enter in the form, along with your IP address and browser details to help prevent spam.

An unreadable string made from your email address (a hash) might be shared with the Gravatar service to check if you use it. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture becomes public next to your comment.

Media

If you upload photos or images to our site, you should make sure they do not contain hidden location data (EXIF GPS). Anyone visiting the website can download those images and extract that location details.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you can choose to save your name, email, and website in cookies. This is simply for your convenience so you don’t have to re-type them next time. These cookies stay on your device for one year.

If you go to our login screen, we place a temporary cookie just to check if your browser allows cookies. This contains zero personal data and disappears when you close your browser.

When you sign in, we use cookies to save your login details and screen settings. Login cookies stay for two days, and screen setup cookies last for a year. Choosing “Remember Me” keeps you logged in for two weeks. If you log out manually, these login cookies are deleted.

If you update or publish a post, one more cookie will save in your browser. It holds no private data and just notes the ID of the article you edited. It goes away after 24 hours.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site might feature embedded content like videos, images, or articles. This embedded content works exactly as if you were visiting the other website directly.

These outside websites might collect data about you, use their own cookies, add extra third-party tracking, and track how you interact with that content—especially if you have an account and are logged into their site.

Who we share your data with

If you ask for a password reset, your current IP address will be written inside that reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you write a comment, both the comment and its details are kept permanently. This allows us to instantly recognize and approve your future comments instead of holding them in a review line.

For any users who create an account on our site, we keep the personal information they save in their user profile. You can view, change, or delete your personal details at any time (except your username cannot be changed). Our site administrators can also view and update that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you hold an account here or have posted comments, you can ask for a copy of the personal data we store about you. You can also ask us to completely delete any personal details we have on file. This does not apply to any information we are legally, administratively, or safely required to keep.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments might be screened through an automatic spam detection filter.
